Our Stategy

Venquest Capital Partners is a private investment firm which acquires controlling interests in middle-market companies valued up to $100 million. Our unique approach is defined by the following guiding principles:

  • We have flexibility in the types of deals we choose to pursue, how we structure transactions, how we manage portfolio companies, and how long we hold our investments.
  • We perform extensive hands-on due diligence ourselves to develop the best possible understanding of acquisition candidates, enabling us to successfully complete transactions and add value post-closing.
  • We seek to negotiate fair transactions and we do not unnecessarily renegotiate terms. We don’t lose sight that the seller and management will often be our partner after the deal closes.
  • We enter into a partnership with company management teams and are actively involved with portfolio companies in a constructive, as-needed, manner.
These tenets, combined with the longstanding partnership of our Principals, have enabled us to complete many successful transactions since forming Venquest in 2000. As a testimony to the success of our approach, the Venquest sponsored 2007 acquisition of Premier Retail Interiors was awarded The Best Acquisition by a Private Equity Firm in the Dallas Business Journal’s M&A Awards.
